How do I install WordPress?

See the Getting Started article on installing WordPress with one click. The full process takes about 5 minutes via Softaculous in cPanel.

For advanced users who prefer manual installation:

  1. Download WordPress from wordpress.org.
  2. Upload via cPanel File Manager or SFTP into public_html.
  3. Create a MySQL database in cPanel → MySQL Databases.
  4. Visit your domain in a browser and follow the WordPress installer.

We recommend Softaculous for most users because it sets safe file permissions, generates strong passwords, and configures security keys automatically. It also makes future updates and clones much easier.
