How do I set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC?

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are DNS records that prove your emails really come from your domain — they dramatically improve deliverability and protect your domain from being spoofed by spammers.

For domains where DNS is hosted with us, all three records are configured automatically when you create your first email account. You can verify this in cPanel → Email → Email Deliverability — every domain should show green checkmarks for SPF and DKIM.

If a domain shows warnings, click Manage next to it, and we'll generate the correct records. For domains using external DNS (such as Cloudflare or Route 53), the page provides the exact TXT records to copy and paste into your DNS provider.

For DMARC, we recommend starting with a relaxed policy (p=none) to monitor for a few weeks, then tightening to p=quarantine or p=reject once you confirm everything legitimate is passing.
